Red Routes
Green Routes | Amber Routes | Black Routes
The routes in this category are only slightly more demanding than the Amber runs.
Mostly fast A's with some hidden B's they allow you to waft along at a sensible pace with long wooded straights and the occasional curve to keep you on your toes.
One of our favourite examples of these routes is more of a circuit than a route the local version of the Nurburgring we like to think.
Starting at Hatherleigh, take the A3072 and drive for 9 miles to just past Brandis Corner.
Turn left onto the A3079. Continue on this road for 13 miles, straight through Halwill Junction, to the roundabout.
Take the first exit to the next roundabout, take the first exit again and head back to Hatherleigh which is the last 8 miles of the 30 mile lap.
There will be more routes for you to choose from in your drivers manual which will you will be given on arrival.
